About the Opportunity
Join SA Health as a Patient Services Visiting Specialist Admin at Port Lincoln Hospital, where you will play an essential role in supporting specialist healthcare delivery to rural communities across the Eyre Peninsula. This ongoing part‐time position offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference in regional healthcare while enjoying excellent work‐life balance. Working within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, you will coordinate visiting specialist services, ensuring patients receive timely access to specialised care close to home. Your role involves managing appointment scheduling, patient communications, and administrative support that keeps our specialist services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate visiting specialist appointments and clinic schedules
* Manage patient bookings and waiting lists efficiently
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
* Maintain accurate patient records and databases
* Support specialist medical staff during clinic visits
Qualifications
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Experience in healthcare administration preferred
* Proficiency in computer systems and databases
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
Requirements
National Police Certificate (NPC) required for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
Immunisation risk for this position: Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances).
