AUD 90 - 100 per hour, Super on ALL Hours. Specialist Development Mentor – Mobile Equipment Maintenance (8:6 FIFO Roster)
Make your mark in mining by helping the next generation of maintainers succeed. We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist Development Mentor to join our Mobile Equipment Maintenance team. This is a FIFO opportunity from Perth on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster (day shift only).
In this role, you’ll play a key part in building the technical capability of our Maintenance Associates by delivering hands-on training, mentoring, and in-field coaching across heavy mobile equipment. You’ll work closely with Supervisors and Execution Leaders to lift performance, improve safety outcomes, and ensure the highest maintenance standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach Maintenance Associates in the field during HD equipment servicing and repairs
- Partner with Supervisors to build technical capability across teams
- Develop and deliver structured training plans, continuously improving programs
- Conduct performance verifications against Production Standards and coach others in assessment processes
- Monitor performance and provide the necessary support to ensure standards are achieved

What you’ll bring
- Trade qualification – HD Fitter
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
- Current HR driver’s licence (minimum)
- High Risk Work Licence – LF, RB, EWP
- Working at Heights certification
- Hands-on experience with CAT autonomous trucks & mobile equipment servicing
- Experience operating Scania and Haulmax service trucks
- Strong passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others
