About the opportunity
Enjoy hitting the road and taking in the scenic views of the Murrumbidgee region? We have the perfect opportunity for you! A casual Pathology Courier position is now available based at the Wagga Wagga Base Laboratory.
In this role, you'll travel across the Murrumbidgee area using our fleet vehicles, working within a 7‐day roster. Our Pathology Couriers play a vital role in safely transporting samples and essential items between hospitals and laboratories across the region.
We're looking for someone with a clean driving record, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This is a casual position with no set or regular shifts, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
Provide an efficient, consistent and reliable pathology sample transport service which also transports collection equipment, results and other items as required to and from NSWHP laboratories, collection centres, clinics and hospitals.

* A level of fitness appropriate to courier duties: walk long distances and lift, carry and move items of up to 10 kgs over an eight hour shift
* Ability to be flexible and participate in a 24 hour / 7 day roster, and ability and willingness to travel
* Current unencumbered Class C NSW drivers license with exemplary driving record. (Recent RTA infringement record print out required)
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver efficient and effective services
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Demonstrated excellent time management skills with the ability to maintain high quality work output while managing competing priorities
* Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and within a team and to promote teamwork as a basis for improvement.
