About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Health Officer to join us in this meaningful role responsible for:
Responsibilities
* Identifying, investigating, monitoring and managing a range of environmental health issues
* Enforcement activities in line with public health legalisation
* Designing, marketing and implementing public environmental health programs
Qualifications
* Hold a tertiary qualification in Applied Science (Environmental Health) or an equivalent field.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in public health within Local, State or Federal government.
* A genuine passion and strong interest in public health and community wellbeing.
* Hold a current Class C driver's licence and demonstrate willingness to travel long distances across the Health Service as required.
