Job Overview
A multiskilled printer technician is required to support our exclusive partnerships with leading brands.
1. Service and Maintenance:
* Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of printing and imaging devices.
* Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure optimal performance of print equipment.
* Calibrate and configure machines to customer specifications and partner brand standards.
2. Technical Support:
* Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to resolve customer issues promptly.
* Educate customers on proper usage, features, and maintenance of print equipment to reduce service calls.
* Assist in developing user manuals and training materials.
3. Workshop and Field Service:
* Utilize a showroom and workshop premises as the base for repairs, testing, and parts replacement.
* Travel to client locations across various regions to provide on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Inventory and Parts Management:
* Maintain accurate records of parts, tools, and equipment usage.
* Manage inventory levels for commonly used parts and tools, ensuring efficient turnaround for repairs and service calls.
5. Customer Service:
* Build strong relationships with customers through professional, reliable, and friendly service.
* Address customer concerns and ensure their managed print services are running efficiently.
* Gather customer feedback to contribute to service improvement initiatives.
6. Collaboration and Training:
* Work closely with sales and service teams to coordinate service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Participate in in-house training and external certification programs to maintain high technical expertise.
Requirements:
* Proven experience (2+ years) in servicing, maintaining, and repairing printing and imaging devices.
* Familiarity with network connectivity and print management software is preferred.
* Basic understanding of office IT infrastructure, networking, and troubleshooting.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
* Professional communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
* Ability to lift, carry, and move print devices and related equipment.
* Valid driver's license required.
