**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

They operate an ever-expanding purpose-built facility in Derrimut, but service clients nationwide, undertaking projects within the heavy engineering sector supporting a variety of essential industries. Due to a recent acquisition, there have been some structural changes that has presented an opportunity for an experience Quality Manager to join their team.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Supported by senior management, your role will be to take ownership of all facets of the implementation and management of their QMS system. As the two companies come together, they have different systems and processes, so your job will be focused on maintaining the existing ISO9001 while rolling it out within the new site. Other duties will encompass the following.
- Owning the process of quality issue resolution from start to end, engaging all relevant stake holders
- Responsible for inspecting procedures while identifying non-conformity issues
- Establish and maintain QMS with the objective of proactively preventing and anticipate problems and a goal of higher customer satisfaction and lower support costs
- Ensure compliance and audit against ISO9001, taking responsibility for changes
- Collaborate with all departments, to continuously move the organisation towards a sustained world-class ISO-compliant quality system of principles and processes, mindset, and culture
- Provide a high level of contact for customers, sales team, and product managers, responding promptly to quality issues, providing technical support, and sustaining customer loyalty by delivering a positive experience on every interaction
- Exhibit leadership in the development and maintenance of strategic supplier partnerships, both national and international, using supplier assessments (KPI's) and the NCR/CAPA process
- Conduct quality assurance investigations of non-conforming products and processes, including identifying underlying causes, and developing and coordinating recommended corrective actions.
**SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE**
To be considered for this role, you will bring.
- Substantial experience within Quality Assurance, having worked at management level having previously implemented and maintained a QMS system encompassing ISO9001 compliance
- Skills within auditing activities (both internal and external), compliance and working within a team to drive change and ensure
- Sound experience across managing QA functions or supervising QC of incoming goods and conformance testing within a heavy / precision engineering or fabrication environment
