Laboratory Technician (Secondary) - 2026
We are currently seeking to employ a highly motivated and innovative Laboratory Technician to join our growing Secondary School community. The position is 0.4 FTE, commencing January 2026.
The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across Science. They are responsible for preparing, maintaining, and safely storing equipment, chemicals, and materials to ensure practical lessons run smoothly and efficiently. The role involves setting up experiments, demonstrations, and practicals in line with curriculum requirements, as well as assisting teachers and students during activities to promote safe and effective practice.
The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic and friendly nature. Training for the Laboratory Technician role will be provided.
The College
Austin Cove Baptist College of South Yunderup is a co-educational College that commenced in 2011 and currently has approximately 780 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
