Role Description
This is a Casual position for a Truck Driver, based in Hervey Bay, QLD. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, adhering to delivery schedules, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. Additional responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and unloading cargo when required. The role demands a commitment to maintaining high safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
* Valid HR licence with a strong understanding of truck driving operations
* Experience in handling and unloading cargo efficiently and safely
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and adherence to safety protocols
* Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, inspections, and operating heavy trucks
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules
* High level of professionalism and customer service orientation
* A clean driving record and the ability to lift moderately heavy items
