About the role
SACA is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the development and execution of SACA's business marketing strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role will involve significant responsibilities for the execution of proactive marketing strategies, management of marketing operations, and facilitation of organisational marketing needs aligned with SACA's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across all areas of the business, including Adelaide Strikers tournaments, Community Cricket, and Events.
* Manage briefs, oversee campaign performance, and coordinate marketing activations, budgets, and agency relationships.
* Support content creation, email marketing, and outbound sales efforts, while providing strategic insights and maintaining brand integrity.
* Collaborate with Cricket Australia, contribute to best practices in entertainment marketing, and help foster a high‐performing, values‐driven team culture.
The Capability & Experience we are Seeking
* Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with a relevant degree.
* A proven record in delivering customer and stakeholder results in a competitive marketplace.
* Demonstrated verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise and negotiate with senior management, agencies and other stakeholders.
* Creativity, collaboration and flexibility are a must.
* Experience executing highly successful, creative media relations & marketing campaigns.
* Proven ability to build relationships and get the best out of people at all levels.
* Strong knowledge of consumer and digital marketing.
* Innovative thinker with a demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic above‐and‐below‐the‐line brand plans.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience managing staff.
* Experience working in marketing in a sports team environment.
* A proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, work under pressure.
* Mobile device content creation skills desirable.
* Hold a valid Working with Children Check or be able to obtain one.

The SACA is one of the nation's premier sporting bodies, with a vision for cricket to be Australia's favorite sport – a sport for all Australians. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, SACA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a state level.
