Conference & Events Sales Manager Role
About the Position:
We are looking for a skilled professional to manage conferences and events. This is a unique opportunity to work in a luxury hotel environment and be part of creating a memorable experience.
Mondrian Gold Coast is set on the sun-drenched esplanade of Burleigh Beach, an immersive precinct that reflects the culture of one of Australia's most iconic coastal destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting client requirements, ensuring every client's vision is flawlessly translated into a successful event.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Develop tailored BEOs that reflect client needs and venue offerings.
* Manage conference and event activity to ensure successful coordination.
* Coordinate with internal departments such as Food and Beverage, Banquets, Housekeeping, Front Office and AV to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Conduct site inspections when required.
* Collaborate with the Banquets team to ensure seamless event execution.
* Monitor event budgets and resources effectively.
* Coordinate vendors, stakeholders, and other departments during event planning and delivery.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in event sales or hospitality sales, preferably in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Proficiency in event management software and standard Microsoft Office applications.
