About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Commis Chef who strives to exceed guests’ expectations and wants to join a team that prioritises diversity and inclusion in a professional and fun working environment.
As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality food products in line with Hyatt standards.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in preparation of ingredients
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events
- Maintain the assigned station/section in a clean and orderly manner at all times
- Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of work experience
- Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
- A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
