This critical role in the merchandise team requires building long-lasting partnerships with customers and delivering appropriate advice and services using specialist knowledge of a variety of agricultural products and supplies.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Branch Manager, manage sales and inventory of a range of products and services, including animal health, agronomy chemicals, and other general agricultural merchandise.
* Work closely with store management and sales teams, providing merchandise support such as stock takes, retail operations improvements, on-farm meetings, technical information, and mentoring to encourage improved performance.
* Contribute to branch budgets and manage the branch P&L. Negotiate with suppliers and develop pricing strategies; oversee stock levels and marketing initiatives to maintain competitive position for all lines.
* Analyse market trends, climatic and seasonal considerations to ensure Nutrien Ag Solutions is the first choice for rural customers in the region.
What we'll love about you

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Exposure to SAP ERP is preferred, with strong MS Excel for reporting.
* Current and clean driver's license required; Forklift ticket is highly advantageous.
