The Role & Your Requirements
About the role
The Specialised Transport and Lifting team, based in Perth, Western Australia is offering a Full-Time position, at our Naval Base based operations, assisting with the maintenance and operation of our heavy haulage platform trailers, SPMT's and associated equipment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be deeply involved in the exclusive industry of Specialised Transport and Lifting, experiencing alternative means to lift and shift items that average people would not think possible to relocate.
We are seeking an active, self-motivated person, with a mechanical mindset.

Duties
* Assist experienced personnel with assembly and operationally related scopes of work regarding platform trailers.
* Assist with preventative, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on all associated equipment.
* Present daily checklist, maintenance, and fault reports to line management
* General hand duties, painting, greasing, housekeeping

Skills & experience
• Basic mechanical understanding
• Personal interest in mechanical workings preferred.
• Punctual, reliable, fit and can work unsupervised
• English literacy skills
• C class drivers' licence and FL HRWL – Clear police check
