Tarampa and its associated arms is an innovative accommodation and support service organisation partnering with customers striving to reach their individual goals. Tarampa Lodge has been operating for over 44 years and is a family run service which prides itself on projecting a family atmosphere.
We are looking for a Cook full time with the option to work on a Saturday or Sunday. Penalty rates apply to weekend work.
Key Responsibilities and personality traits
As a Cook, you'll take pride in your presentation, be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and have a keen interest on the impact of dietary requirements on our customers.
You will have proven experience in applying food safety standards, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation and demonstrate the following:
* Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain if required
* Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
* Good understanding of Australian food standards
* A flair for engaging and liaising with customers.
* Sensitive toward customer needs
* Understanding and Compassionate
* The ability to multitask and problem solve independently when required.
* A high standard of customer service
* restocking and ordering stores and rations,
* Ability to think on your feet and be able to problem solve
* Be willing to learn the processes
* Work as a team member

* Successful applicants must be willing to obtain a Positive Exemption Notice (Yellow Card), and other industry requirement checks as required
* Complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module
