Your role:As the Project Manager, you will: Provide high level strategic advice on operational and governance matters relating to non-state education and the provision of services to ensure highly effective programs, projects and resources. Provide project planning and leadership to assist with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to non-state schooling including current and emerging Australian government and State government initiatives. Responsibilities include: Lead project teams and manage projects to ensure effective coordination and integration of programs, projects and resources within time and cost limitations.Coordinate and manage activities to ensure effective management of emerging sensitive and critical issues in projects that affect non-state schools.Provide strategic advice on operational and governance matters impacting on non-state education in Queensland through project management of emerging issues within the department and across government.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to brief senior officers verbally and in writing, as the occasion demands, on emergent and critical issues that may require sensitive management and/or immediate attention.Critically analyse and prepare briefs on complex reports and submissions in order to interpret and render advice for the consideration of executive and senior staff.Ensure effective communication, integration, coordination and liaison occurs with internal and external stakeholders and establish and cultivate effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders and clients.
