The International Medical Graduate (IMG) Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of end-to-end recruitment of the JMO Workforce for International Medical Graduates. The position also assists in the management and coordination of the annual and ad hoc JMO recruitment for all of Westmead Hospital JMO staff, ensuring compliance for all JMO appointments.

The position will assist the JMO Manager and Junior Medical Workforce Planning and Operations Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of procedures to support the coordination of end-to-end recruitment services for the JMO workforce, including ongoing review of processes and practices to enhance the JMO recruitment experience.

This position is responsible for coordinating the operational functions related to the recruitment, selection, on-boarding, termination, contract management, Medical Registration, Visas, personnel administration (including records management), and the provision of advice on HR related policy, awards, agreements, practice and legislation for the JMO workforce at Westmead Hospital.

The IMG Coordinator strives to develop and maintain positive relationships with clinical departments as well as facilitating communication with various other agencies including JMO Recruitment Unit, HealthShare, AHPRA, Department of Home Affairs, Locum agencies and Colleges.

The position holder ensures the provision of a high standard of support services in a timely, customer focused and resource efficient manner to meet the needs of Westmead Hospital.

• Current experience in the management of end-to-end recruitment processes, with the ability to interpret relevant legislation, policy, Awards and agreements within a large and complex organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high volume and demanding environment with a proven capacity to organise and prioritise to meet deadlines.
• Ability to analyse operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing sound business practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal and relationship management skills including the capacity to successfully relate to managers and prospective employees.
• Solid customer service skills with a focus and responsive approach to managing a large volume of enquiries whilst maintaining confidentiality.
