About The Role
We're seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Hamlyn Terrace working a minimum of 35.5 hours per fortnight.
The role involves assisting a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home.
They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community.
You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans
Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines

Week 1:
Monday: 3 PM – 6 AM (Sleepover 7 hrs)
Tuesday: No shift
Wednesday: 2 PM – 7 PM (5 hrs)
Thursday: No shift
Friday: No shift
Saturday: No shift
Sunday: No shift
Week 2:
Monday: No shift
Tuesday: 3 PM – 6 AM (7 hrs Sleepover)
Wednesday: 8 AM – 1 PM (5 hrs)
Thursday: 2 PM – 7 PM (5 hrs)
Friday: No shift
Saturday: No shift
Sunday: 7:30 AM – 2 PM (6.5 hrs)
Who We're Looking For
Willing to work sleepover, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and confident driving Unisson vehicles
Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
Experienced in disability support (preferred)
Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
