Duties
* Management of all food preparation and cooking activities.
* Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents' dietary, individual and cultural needs are met.
* Ensure the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services.
* Lead, coach and develop catering/kitchen staff.
* Implement and maintain all infection control and food safety procedures.
* Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation.
Skills and Experience
* Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is essential.
* Previous experience gained in a similar role ideally within the aged care industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly developed organisation and time‐management skills.The ability to solve problems independently.
* An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
