**The Role**:
The Support Technician will provide specialist support to the onsite personnel for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of gas turbine generating plants, and to initiate, plan and deliver minor projects across Synergen Power's facilities.
The role will report to the Production Manager and is primarily based at any of the Synergen Power sites (Dry Creek, Mintaro, Port Lincoln, Snuggery). Travel to other ENGIE sites in Australia will be required as part of work duties.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Implement ENGIE in Australia policies and procedures
- Assist in the maintenance of gas turbine generators and associated equipment
- Supervise/Manager contracts and external service providers
- prepare, review, and revise site routines and maintenance schedules for all electrical plants
- contribute to troubleshooting, repairing and replacement of field instruments & control systems
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical acumen, strengths in problem solving, high attention to detail, and fault finding, with a focus on safety and quality. You will have post-secondary qualifications in a technical, trade or engineering field, preferably with power plant or process related experience.
A self driver, you will possess effective communication skills and collaborate well with others to meet shared objectives.
