The Role:
We are seeking a friendly and service-focused Guest Service Agent to join the front office team at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach. In this guest-facing role, you'll be the first point of contact for our hotel, creating a warm welcome and delivering seamless check-in, check-out, and guest support experiences.
The role will be on Casual basis with a flexible roster and may also include occasional overnight shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Welcoming and checking in/out guests efficiently
* Managing reservations and handling guest enquiries
* Processing payments and reconciliations
* Upselling rooms and hotel services
* Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism
* Working collaboratively with Housekeeping, F&B and Events teams
* Maintaining brand standards at all times
About You:
* Previous Hotel Front Office or Reception experience (highly regarded)
* Presents professionally and communicates confidently
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Flexible availability
* Experience with Opera or similar PMS systems will be highly regarded.
