**Part-Time 4-Day Nanny — Pymble**

Our active and fun Pymble
- based family is searching for a nurturing, loving, creative, and playful long-term nanny to provide their children with high-quality care. It is important that the nanny is fun and outgoing as the children enjoy indoor and outdoor activities such as visiting the Australian Museum, the zoo, the beach, taking train or bus rides to nowhere, in particular, going on picnics, or just going up the local park for a hot chocolate and run around. At home, they love to cook together, do puzzles, and arts and crafts, explore our curiosity (e.g. with sensory activities like oobleck or bicard soda/vinegar), play dress-up, build something, and have a dance party, or read books.
The nanny will focus the majority of her care on the children. Drop-off and pick up of the child to and from school. Play and educate the children with age-appropriate techniques, take the children for fun activities outdoors, feed the children, and put the baby to sleep for his naps. There may be swimming lessons one morning a week in summer or a local music class.
The nanny will be responsible for making sandwiches and cutting up fruits, veggies, cheese, etc-just for the kids (the eldest child often likes to help prepare her lunch.), and light household duties only when possible such as bringing the dirty dishes into the sink after lunch and cleaning up spills but would encourage the eldest child to help too(she often likes to do it). As long as the kids are stimulated and having fun and feeling loved, parents are happy to clean up at the end of the day.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and planning fun, creative and educational activities and outings
- Building a strong relationship with the children
- Drop-off and pick up from school
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Attend various kid's classes
- Work with parents to ensure children's growth and social development

- A valid driver's license
- Montessori or Steiner teaching methods
- Knows how to swim
- A minimum of 5 years experience working with children full-time in Australia
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Excellent communication skills
