This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale transformation program reshaping how editorial teams plan, create and publish content. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential to extend), where you'll step into a Business Analyst, Workflow & Process role at the heart of a major business and systems transformation. You'll play a key role in designing and documenting future-state workflows that support more digital-first, efficient ways of working across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams and newsroom experts, you'll help translate high-level transformation goals into clear, actionable processes that underpin new systems, tools and ways of working.

Responsibilities

* Document and map current and future-state business processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and scalability.
* Support and facilitate workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and validate workflows.
* Maintain and continuously update process documentation, ensuring version control and alignment with agreed standards.
* Track progress of documentation and approvals, providing clear visibility on status and key milestones.
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure systems and tools align with designed workflows.
* Support implementation activities including pilot phases, rollout, and continuous improvement of processes.

Who are you?

* Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on process mapping and workflow design.
* Skilled in capturing business requirements and translating them into clear, structured documentation.
* Proficient with process mapping tools (e.g. BPMN, Visio, Miro) and best practice methodologies.
* A confident communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders across different levels of the business.
* Detail-oriented, structured and able to manage multiple streams of work in a fast-paced environment.
* Hands‐on and pragmatic, with the ability to move from concept through to execution and delivery.
