Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP CAR Consultant with specialized expertise in Promotion Management for Retail (PMR). The ideal candidate will lead strategic initiatives to implement and optimize SAP CAR PMR solutions, enabling retailers to manage promotions effectively across channels. This role requires deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP CAR and PMR, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross‐functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‐to‐end SAP CAR PMR implementations and enhancements.
* Design and configure PMR solutions to support complex retail promotion strategies.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze promotion requirements.
* Integrate SAP CAR PMR with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC/S4, F&R, BW, POS).
* Provide expertise in promotion planning, execution, and performance analysis.
* Conduct workshops, blueprinting sessions, and stakeholder presentations.
* Ensure solution scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals.
* Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership across SAP CAR projects.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in PMR processes.
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 8+ years of SAP Retail experience, with 4+ years in SAP CAR and PMR.
* Proven track record of leading SAP CAR PMR implementations in large‐scale retail environments.
* Strong understanding of retail promotion planning and execution processes.
* Expertise in SAP HANA, SLT replication, and POS data integration.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work in fast‐paced, global, and cross‐functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP CAR certification.
* Experience with SAP F&R, Unified Demand Forecast (UDF), and Omnichannel retail.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
* Exposure to cloud‐based retail platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
