Overview
Responsibilities
* Design, build, install, integrate and maintain complex network technologies and platforms with Telstra processes and systems to deliver products and services to customer business units for mobile network provisioning
* Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements, using technical principles into reusable API based micro-services
* Work with Product Owners and Technical Product Owners to develop business and technology roadmaps
* Utilise on premise and cloud technologies to deploy and host applications
* Design and lead backend and micro-service development utilising frameworks such as Express/Node.js with Typescript support.
* Contribute to frontend development utilising Vue.js
* Set up and maintain CICD pipelines into development and production environments
* Utilising Agile ceremonies and practices, lead planning, design and estimation sessions.
* Integrate solutions by executing on security and operational requirements
Key Skillset
* Hands-on experience with Agile Tools (Jira, Confluence)
* Hands-on experience with back-end development: Node.js/Express with Typescript support
* Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks: Mocha, Chai, Sinon
* Hands on experience with relational and document based databases such as: MongoDb, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, SQL Server
* Hands on experience with containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Bamboo, BitBucket etc.
* Knowledge of Authentication Security: SAML, SSO, OAuth
