**JOB PURPOSE**:
Located in Pinkenba, the L3L3Harris Communications and Logistics Centre (HCLC) is a multi-faceted logistics support entity that provides the L3L3Harris Defence Australia programs with integrated logistics support. Within this facility, as a member of the In Service Support (ISS) team, this role is responsible for providing logistics support to a multitude of L3 L3Harris projects, standing offers and services associated with the freight and distribution of L3 L3Harris communications equipment and ancillaries.
**SCOPE**:
This role will provide direct support to In Service Support Maintenance Support Supervisor. The primary focus of this role will involve the following:
- Assist with tasks within the Maintenance Support area to support contractual performance requirements Assist in the stocktaking of CoA CCI assets located in Overseas SCA's
- Assist with the yearly L3Harris stocktake of all ORACLE stock
- Creation and completion of Repair Maintenance Authorisations (RMAs) within Mercury, Oracle, Premiere, RMA and SharePoint registers
- Update Maintenance Support Supervisor of any issues affecting the Maintenance Support area of responsibility
- Other duties as directed by the Supply Chain Maintenance Support Supervisor.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Direct liaison with customers to provide advice and assistance regarding maintenance related issues
- Receipt and storage of Internal purchase orders of repair parts from Rochester, including loading of parts into Oracle
- Stocktaking of L3Harris owned assets
- Inspection, label and packing of items for freight via Fed Ex booking
- Quality checking costs against part numbers for commercial invoicing to ensure accurate documentation for shipments
- Co-ordinate shipments with key contacts in Rochester for incoming RMAs
- Carry out a control process to ensure all parts are designated properly to the corresponding RMA and parts received are exactly as per order
- Accurate checks and recording of replacement serial and part numbers as well as labour/material cost updates (obtained from Cost Final Repair reports), into relevant registers
- Liaison with external vendors regarding repair of L3Harris Equipment
- Liaison with Warehouse staff regarding repair of RSG parts and accessories for Tech Inspection and Repair
- Conducting appropriate checks within Mercury to determine parts in warranty and out of warranty
- Provide support to Nodal checks conducted on all new equipment purchased by the CoA and stored at the L3Harris Communications Logistic Centre (HCLC)
- Assists with the return of unserviceable assets to L3Harris Product Support for disposal and repair/replacement
- Prepare and maintain records of items shipped
Ensure International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) are correctly adhered

**EDUCA**TION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS**
**E**ssential**
- Understanding of Defence warehousing/Supply chain & Inventory control
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills (able to converse with internal/external customers)
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, ensuring area is always safe
- General computer skills/knowledge (Intermediate level MS Excel is highly regarded)
**Desirable**
- Quality driven with an analytical nature
- Capable of periods of autonomous work without requiring direct supervision
- Current Australian NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum
