About the Role
Catholic Homes is seeking an experienced Care Worker to join our team at Archbishop Goody in East Perth. This casual position requires flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts as needed to cover operational requirements and staff leave.
Archbishop Goody is a small facility, located across from Queens Gardens with free onsite parking available. The successful applicant will receive ongoing support and guidance from the Facility Manager and the senior care team.
Key responsibilities:
* Provides assistance with personal care and tasks of daily living according to Resident's individual Care Plan
* Attends to resident's care needs, goals, and preferences in line with Catholic Homes care model, "Care with Purpose"
* Contributes information to residents' assessment and care plans
* Ensures that all aspects of care and services uphold resident rights including dignity, respect and privacy.
To be successful in the role you will have:
* Experience working within Aged Care
* Certificate III in Aged Care
* Must be competent in dispensing of medication
* Excellent organisational skills
* Enthusiastic and positive demeanour
* Passion and dedication for working with the elderly
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work
