Group administration assistant

We have an opportunity for an experienced and driven Group Management Assistant to assist the Group Leader and teams within the Energy business in our Sydney office. This role will see you supporting the local team to manage their administration requirements, ensuring the smooth running of the group.

Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Day-to-day management and support of the Group Director and Team Leads, including the organisation of meetings, including booking and setting up required equipment, and advising participants
- Assisting with group events, external and internal
- Assist with the on-boarding of new employees in systems, policies and procedures as required
- Compilation of professional documents and presentations for external and internal use
- Be part of an office administration support network and participate in continuous improvement of office administration tasks
- Assisting with travel itineraries, bookings and other travel preparations
- Organising and taking meeting minutes in a timely, accurate and professional manner, including management of actions from the meetings
- Liaising with other functional teams such as facilities management, safety, finance, HR and IT to assist in expediting business needs for individuals and teams
- Assist in the management of visitors to the office and Resources & Industry team, including client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

You will have relevant professional experience in a similar role, with a customer-focused approach. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build solid relationships and provide a high level of support to your key stakeholders. You will have a flexible and solutions-focused attitude that will enable you to flourish in this role.
- Experience in financial management packages and workflow
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to demonstrate passion, energy, and drive
