With a strong people-first culture, the team values collaboration, curiosity, and continual learning.About the role:Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Retail Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and brand presence within retail environments, specifically within franchise stores.
This role requires a dynamic individual capable of selling against well-known brands, developing strong relationships with franchise owners, floor sales teams, and head office personnel.Additionally, the Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for training floor staff to ensure product knowledge and effective selling techniques.Some of the key responsibilities include:Drive sales growth through retail partner stores, competing effectively against well established and known brands;Build and nurture strong relationships with franchisees, floor salespeople, and head office stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and supportive partnership;Deliver comprehensive product training to floor staff, ensuring they are equipped to confidently and effectively promote the brand to customers;Implement sales strategies tailored to each retail partner, region and franchisee, leveraging knowledge of the market and the competitive landscape;Regularly visit retail locations to support sales initiatives, assess merchandising, and provide feedback to ensure the brand is well-represented;Stay informed about competitor activities, market conditions, and consumer trends to adjust sales approaches and capitalize on market opportunities.What you will need to be successful in this role:Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail or business-to-retail sales role preferably from HVAC, appliances, white-goods or similar selling into major retailers.Qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is desirableExperience in training retail sales staff and developing their product knowledge and selling skills across multiple storesStrong understanding of the retail landscape, including franchise operations and competitive selling strategiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAble to work independently and proactively manage relationships and sales opportunitiesWhy you will love it:A welcoming and inclusive workplace cultureA chance to grow your career in a future-focused industryGenerous discounts on company productsSupport for your health and wellbeing through EAP and wellness initiativesAccess to ongoing career developmentOur client is passionate about helping our people thrive.
