Job Opportunity
Seeking a skilled Electrician with significant experience in project execution and maintenance management to oversee electrical, instrumentation, and operational technology upgrades and modifications for brownfield and greenfield projects.
The ideal candidate will expand their knowledge of OT and maintenance control systems through to cyber security.
This is a full-time role based in Kwinana with regular travel to our works and depots in the agricultural regions within Western Australia.
About the Position
As an Electrical Project Officer, you will utilise your expertise to effectively plan, schedule, and supervise contractor teams.
The role will play a crucial part in the success of our plant and hardware upgrade and modification programs.
Reporting to the Senior E/I Engineer, you will manage safety, quality, time, and cost for capital and special maintenance projects in both brownfield and greenfield settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and fostering a strong quality and safety culture within contractor groups to ensure site procedures are understood and health and safety expectations are followed
* Monitoring and ensuring project works are compliant and executed to the required standards and statutory requirements
* Working closely with operations and dispatch teams to plan and schedule project work
* Providing front-line IT/OT communication network systems support with assistance from WesCEF personnel
* Supporting and managing projects through development of scopes of work for tender packages, tender evaluation, and award
* Attending to urgent breakdowns from time to time, or providing backup support for site and Kwinana E/I maintenance personnel
* Design tasks and cost estimating of E&I work
Requirements
* Formal electrical trade qualification essential with certifications in instrumentation and HV switching considered highly desirable
* Significant experience in E&I maintenance and project execution work
* Proven project management experience using internal support systems and tools to execute projects in line with company procedures and policies
* Supervising employees and/or contractors in a similar role within a production environment
* Sound knowledge of OT networks related to operational assets and plant infrastructure including PLC and HMI system configuration
* Working knowledge of VSD drives and a wide range of instrumentation including weighing systems and their configuration and calibration requirements
* Experience with IT/OT communication networks and technology platforms both past and present
* Highly effective stakeholder management skills with strong communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised
