The position:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading the Infrastructure Business Unit and overseeing the planning, design and delivery of capital works, maintenance programs and asset management initiatives across CENT schools.
The role works closely with school leaders, contractors and government stakeholders to ensure infrastructure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and in alignment with organisational priorities.
This is a full-time permanent position, with commencement negotiable.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the strategic planning and delivery of infrastructure and asset management across CENT schools.
* Oversee minor and major capital works projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
* Manage and support the Infrastructure team to deliver high quality services to schools.
* Provide advice and support to school principals on infrastructure planning, maintenance and development projects.
* Manage procurement processes and infrastructure contracts in accordance with governance and compliance requirements.
* Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, government agencies and school communities.

About you:
* Experience in infrastructure, construction, asset management or building trades.
* Strong knowledge of project management processes including planning, scheduling and contract management.
* Understanding of building compliance requirements including the National Construction Code and relevant legislation.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and problem‐solving capabilities.
* Experience leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Is willing to support the culture and Catholic ethos of Catholic Education NT.
* Certificate IV in Building & Construction, building trade qualification, or tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, construction or a related field.
* Current NT Driver's Licence.
* Ability to travel to regional and remote communities within the Northern Territory is required.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
