Why Your Role Matters :
This is an exceptionally varied and challenging BA role, reporting to the Project Delivery Manager and working with senior stakeholders on several key projects including the operating model of UNSW Canberra. The body of work will have a significant impact and includes documenting and presenting the current state business processes, identifying pain points, gathering business requirements, facilitating process workshops, recommending options to improve the current state processes, services, technology, people and designing the future state.
The perfect candidate will have a strong track record in Business Analysis, managing or contributing to the management of projects, and superior stakeholder engagement skills. Please note that this is not an IT / Tech position - it is a Process Improvement role.
Who You Are (skills and experience) :
* Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, and has or is pursuing Certified Practitioner in Business Analysis (IIBA or PMP), or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through education / training / experience.
* At least 5 years' demonstrated experience with business requirements analysis and business process analysis using the appropriate frameworks.
* Demonstrated experience in applying lean six sigma skills (Certification desirable).
* Strong time management and organisational skills to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and deliver according to project timeframes.
* Proven ability to reconcile conflicts, distil high level information into detailed understanding and the ability to extrapolate from low level information to a more general understanding.
* Effective written and oral communication skills with proven facilitation skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of business processes within a tertiary education environment and change management principles will be highly regarded.
