The Corporate Governance and Risk Coordinator supports the Manager Corporate Governance and Risk by coordinating, monitoring and assuring the effective operation of the organisation's enterprise risk, quality, compliance and governance frameworks. The role plays a key part in translating governance and compliance expectations into practical activities that strengthen accountability across the organisation.
A strong focus of the role is providing high‐quality governance and risk support, including coordination and quality assurance of Board and Committee papers, high‐level administrative support to the CEO, and ensuring alignment between operational reporting and governance requirements. The role also drives efficiency by systemising registers and tools, strengthening transparency, consistency and organisational controls.
This is a newly created part‐time role (0.8 FTE, 30 hours per week) reporting to the Manager, Corporate Governance and Risk, offering an opportunity to help shape and strengthen EverAbility's enterprise governance and risk practices.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Coordinate and support enterprise governance, risk, quality and compliance frameworks, ensuring risks, issues and obligations are visible, tracked and appropriately owned.
* Maintain organisational risk, issue, incident and compliance registers, monitoring controls, actions and escalation.
* Support audits, accreditation and regulatory reviews, including evidence collation and follow‐up of actions.
* Coordinate policy governance, delegations and governance documentation, ensuring currency and adherence.
* Provide high‐quality support to the CEO, Board and Committees, including coordination and quality assurance of Board papers, action tracking and reporting.
* Monitor legislative, regulatory and sector developments, emerging risks and compliance obligations.
* Drive operational accountability for risks, controls and improvement actions.
* Improve efficiency and transparency by systemising registers, tools and reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
* Experience supporting governance, risk, quality or compliance in a complex or regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of governance and risk, with the ability to drive accountability and effective escalation.
* Proven ability to manage registers, systems, documentation and reporting with accuracy and consistency.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, gaps and trends.
* Experience coordinating executive and Board‐level documentation.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work effectively with senior leaders while maintaining governance integrity.
* Strong organisational skills, discretion and professionalism.
