Position: Desktop Troubleshooting Technician.

Pay: $30-$40 per hour on ABN + Travel Reimbursements + Commissions on Up Sales
Locations Available: Wollongong – Involves traveling to customers.

In our IT division, we provide online and in office support for home and business users, along with other offerings.
Role Description
Providing IT Support (Onsite) to Home and Business Users for Issues like Emails, Internet Setup, Printers, Windows and Mac Troubleshooting, Data Recovery, Software and Hardware Troubleshooting etc.
This role may require traveling around different suburbs.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience for Desktop Troubleshooting.
Experience can be in Australia or Overseas
Technical knowledge of diagnosing problems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email and operating systems.
Having customer facing experience is an added advantage.
Very strong verbal communication skills.
Must have own vehicle along with a valid Australian Driving Licence in case traveling to customers.
Quick thinker and self-motivated with a go-getter attitude.
Motivated to earn commissions on Up Selling support packages to existing customers.
Based in Wollongong and must have work rights.

Significant Things To Know Before You Apply
Part time role to begin with and can be converted to permanent full time later.
No minimum guarantee of work hours per week; on average, part-time techs get around 20-25 hours per week depending on location.
ON DEMAND SUPPORT role.
Be prepared to work and travel within a radius of at least 30 Kms from your base location.
The more your radius, the more work you get.
Option to work on weekends for additional income.
Students from Computer and IT backgrounds can apply.
This profile includes traveling; you MUST have your own vehicle.
