Production Technician Role
The Production Technician will be responsible for the production, test and inspection of electronic equipment. The ideal candidate should have a background in electronics and optics with sound professional working experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Production of electronic equipment from PCBA to complex assemblies;
* Fine motor skill work and challenges in daily tasks;
* Production and inspection of electrical/electronic systems;
* Repair and maintenance of electrical/electronic optics equipment;
* Cross-departmental support services;
* Providing support to internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit technology as well as fine motor skills in PCBA repair, wiring, motors and resolvers.
The successful completion of a Certificate III or higher as an electronics technician is highly regarded. Proven experience working within an electronics and/or optics maintenance or production environment is also essential.

What Qualifications You Should Have
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
* A Certificate III or higher as an electronics technician;
* Proven experience working within an electronics and/or optics maintenance or production environment;
* Experience in fault localisation in electronic circuits and devices;
* Professional knowledge in the field of analogue and digital circuit technology;
* Experience with fine motor skills in PCBA repair, wiring, motors and resolvers, plus other devices and systems;
* Electronic and optical systems technical knowledge.
