A pleasant, well-spoken person with good communication and efficiency skills is required for our busy Mackay office on a temporary contract basis.

1 x Temporary Full Time
1 x Temporary Part Time
Both positions are on a short-term contract for a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 8 weeks, commencing on Monday, 30 June 2025.

About the Role: As the Receptionist at H&R Block, you will:
* Manage the front reception desk.
* Make client bookings.
* Use multiple telephone lines.
* Perform Point of Sale transactions.
* Provide filing and general administration tasks.
* Assist other staff members, as well as specific duties set by the manager.
* Other office administration tasks as required.
We're Looking for someone with:
* Excellent verbal communication.
* Computer literacy skills, including the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
* The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously, as required.
* A demonstrated commitment to providing excellent client service.
* Experience in a similar role in the Accounting, Finance or Medical industry will be an advantage.
We are a fast-paced organisation with a 4-line incoming call reception. The successful candidate is required to manage multiple calls at a time, during the busy periods, schedule all electronic appointments and attend to other facets of general office administration.
