Business Development Manager (Australian Capital Territory) Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in ACT. Role type: Full time, remote (not office based)

About the role This role focuses on driving business growth through the development and implementation of local strategies. You will build on existing relationships with our well-established networks of distributors, installers, and end users, as well as identify new opportunities in the data cabling market.
As a Business Development Manager for ACT, you will work to develop your territory with support from both nationwide and international sales, technical specialists, and customer service/purchasing teams. The role is based remotely, with regional travel required to manage your territory.
You will develop and implement your own sales plans. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of their region and manage their own time, with extensive support options available where needed.

What You Will Do In Your Role Meet or exceed your financial targets Mentor and develop relationships with consultants, end users, installers, and distributors Provide timely and accurate reports on sales, projects, and pipeline information Work with the Customer Service team for effective pricing and delivery Liaise with Technical Support teams to ensure prompt handling of queries Research and advise on local marketing and event opportunities Collaborate with the ANZ sales team to promote Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions as a preferred supplier About you Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 5+ years of direct sales experience in the IT or Data Networking industry Experience developing and implementing growth-oriented sales plans Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and self-monitor workload Flexible and enthusiastic with a drive for self-improvement and positive contribution Able to travel to customers as needed What Will Put You Ahead Experience with SCS/IP Infrastructure/Physical Layer Good understanding of the ACT marketplace At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
