We’re looking for a reliable person to join our team as a Yard Hand / MC Driver. The job is pretty straightforward —
What you’ll be doing:
* Loading and unloading freight
* Ensure freight is correctly stored, secured, and protected from weather and damage.
* Perform general yard duties such as sweeping, rubbish removal, and yard maintenance.
* Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (if licensed and trained).
* Assist in preparing freight for dispatch, including labeling, wrapping, and palletising.
* Driving freight around Townsville
* Doing pre-start checks on the truck & reporting any issues
What we’re after:
* Reliability & punctuality
* Experience in a transport, logistics, or warehousing environment
* Able to work on your own and manage your time well
* A valid MC Licence
Nice to have:
• • Forklift licence (not a deal-breaker)
• • Dangerous Goods licence (not a deal-breaker)
