The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) is a national charity that was established in 2000. FRRR has distributed more than $155m to over 13,000 projects across Australia to date.
FRRR is focused on improving outcomes in the areas of People, Place, and Disaster Resilience & Climate Solutions. **The Role - CFO & Business Operations Manager**
Reporting to the CEO, the CFO & Business Operations Manager will provide strong leadership across corporate services, including finance, IT, People & Culture, Risk & Compliance, and Company Secretary.
**As CFO & Business Operations Manager, you will**:
- Manage a dynamic, fast-paced environment while leading people who share the same FRRR vision.
- Overall financial forecasting, management, and reporting for FRRR.
- Discover and implement efficient ways to lead the core organisation, and motivate staff around continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Leadership team.
- Deliver high-quality reports to the Board, Finance & Audit Committee, CEO, and Leadership Team.
- Support the People & Culture team to drive a positive and supportive work culture.
- Compliance across financial, legal, governance, and legislative/ regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining systems for the acquittal of government and philanthropic grants.
**Your Skills and Attributes**
- Strong financial literacy and knowledge of financing and accounting, with exposure to investment portfolio management and government grants
- Strong business analysis skills with demonstrated experience preparing business cases and implementing budget systems
- Project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to see an organisation with all its parts and be the connection point of portfolios
- Foster executive thinking in a Not-For-Profit environment, with a balance of analytical thinking and empathy
- Qualifications including membership of CA, CPA, or IPA (an MBA is desirable)
