We are seeking a proven sales leader who has built teams and lifted performance — not just held a management title — to take ownership of a growing sales function. Our client is in a genuine growth phase. Momentum is strong, but the next stage requires structure, consistency, and disciplined execution to convert effort into predictable revenue. You will lead a team of 15 sales professionals across mixed levels of experience. The focus is not one-size-fits-all management, but personalised coaching, development, and clear performance direction for each individual. The culture is collaborative, commercially driven, and highly supportive — with shared listings, shared success, and no internal cut-throat competition. At the same time, there is a clear expectation of output, accountability, and professional standards. Accountabilities & Role Expectations: You will own the performance of the sales engine, including: Revenue growth across sales and leasing Pipeline discipline and conversion performance Sales process and CRM consistency Individual performance planning and coaching Embedding accountability and commercial standards Lifting overall team capability and output The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience leading and scaling sales teams Ability to develop individuals across varying experience levels Strong coaching and performance leadership capability Structured, commercially disciplined approach Comfort driving accountability and performance conversations Ability to operate across strategy and execution Commercial real estate experience preferred, not essential NSW Real Estate Licence (or willingness to obtain) Role Authority & Structure Real autonomy from day one. You will have genuine influence over how the team is structured, how performance standards are set, and how the function evolves over time — including input into hiring, capability development, and sales systems. You’ll operate within clear business frameworks, with annual KPIs aligned to growth expectations and directly linked to performance-based bonuses, ensuring strong outcomes are rewarded at both an individual and team level. A competitive base salary is on offer, structured to allow you to focus fully on leadership and performance outcomes — not personal selling activity. Based in Newcastle, this role will require regular presence across the Lower Hunter office, as well as broader regional involvement as the business continues to expand. We are looking for someone who brings structure, clarity, and energy — and who people genuinely choose to follow, not just report to. Next steps? Get in touch with us today to discuss the role, the team, the opportunity and start the conversation.
