The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team at the Altona depot. Consistent shifts, a positive team culture, and the chance to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Employment type: Casual ongoing shifts available for the right candidates; potential to move to full-time
Wages: $38.00 per hour plus overtime and allowances
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload PUD and interstate linehaul vehicles
- Ensure freight is handled according to mass management and load restraint standards
- Verify consignments, weights, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Apply and check destination labels and dangerous goods compatibility
- Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in forklift operations and linehaul loading
- Strong understanding of mass management and load restraint principles
- Ability to follow WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Familiarity with handheld scanning equipment
- Dangerous goods knowledge is advantageous
- A proactive, reliable, and safety-first attitude
