The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Head Chef will be responsible for developing menus, overseeing costings, and supporting the smooth operation of each outlet's kitchen. The successful candidate will be hands‑on when required, particularly during high‑volume events, and play a key role in training, coaching, and uplifting the broader culinary team.
* Lead a team of approximately 35 chefs across four outlets
* Oversee menu costings, ingredient usage, portion control, and profitability
* Work alongside Sous Chefs to ensure each outlet operates efficiently and to standard
* Support functions and large‑scale events of up to 300 guests
* Provide hands‑on training, guidance, and quality assurance across all kitchens
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high‑volume, multi‑outlet or large‑team environment
* Strong knowledge of menu engineering, costings, measurements, and ingredient management
* Hands‑on leadership style with a passion for developing and mentoring chefs
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining high standards of food quality
* Strong organisational, communication, and time‑management skills
