The role
Role Type: Part time, 12 month contract. Salary: $106,667 per annum plus super (pro rata).
Assist in leading research within the Orthopaedic Research Group under senior mentorship. Oversee research projects and governance, collaborating with the Clinical Research Coordinator. Work closely with clinicians to plan, execute, and deliver impactful clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ethical research at the highest level of integrity in line with the Australian Code for Responsible Conduct of Research and MCRI policies.
- Undertake high calibre competitive research.
- Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the supervision of students and to the skill development of peers.
Qualifications
- Relevant PhD/Doctoral qualification and postdoctoral experience.
- Evidence of postdoctoral research outputs and impact, including first or senior author papers and conference attendance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in knowledge sharing, development, mentoring and support of employees and students.
