We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Scaffold Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing safe, compliant, and cost effective scaffolding designs that support a wide range of construction and maintenance projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to deliver high quality design solutions that meet operational and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed scaffold designs, drawings, and plans using industry standard software.
* Ensure scaffold designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
* Provide technical support to site teams during scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling.
* Conduct site visits to assess access requirements, constraints, and design feasibility.
* Prepare material lists, load calculations, and engineering documentation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative access solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Scaffold Designer or in a similar engineering/technical role.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SMART Scaffolder, or similar).
* Strong understanding of scaffolding systems such as Layher, AT-PAC, or Tube & Fitting.
* Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., AS/NZS 1576, AS/NZS 4576).
* Excellent spatial awareness and problem solving abilities.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site plans.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Certificate, diploma, or engineering qualification in a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
