About the role
Mycheck Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team in Woy Woy, NSW. This full-time or part-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our busy medical practice. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clinical staff.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly and professional manner
* Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling inquiries efficiently
* Processing payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate financial records
* Assisting with the coordination of patient referrals and medical tests
* Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
* Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-oriented role
* Entry level candidates are welcome to apply for this medical receptionist position
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in using medical practice management software and various office applications
* Experience with Best Practice medical practice management software is required
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
* A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
* Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
