We are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator at AustSand's Silica Sand Operation facility in Albany.
The role is being offered on a 2 year fixed term basis, 48 hours per week on 12 hour shifts. The shifts will be scheduled four days a week between Monday and Friday 6am to 6pm.

About the Role
Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, this role is responsible for the safe operation of the sites' Komatsu front end loaders and articulated dump trucks, with a focus on high quality, efficient and safe work practices. You will be responsible for:
* Loading ROM hopper
* Loading and operating HM400 Moxy
* Loading road trains to weight using Loadrite weighing system
* Managing product stockpiles
* Carrying out Prestart, fuelling and minor servicing
* Adhering to all mine safety regulations and guidelines
About You
We are seeking applications from motivated and experienced operators.
As a minimum, you will have:
* Experience in operating earthmoving equipment
* Minimum of 1 year experience in operating Komatsu 480-6 Front End loader or equivalent
* Experience in Operating Komatsu HM400 40-ton Articulated Dump Truck
* WA Drivers Licence and reliable transport
* Compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
* Ability to work within a team and independently
* Excellent communication and time management skills
Though not essential, it would also be desirable for you to have:
* Trades background (Mobile or Fixed plant fitter etc)
* Accredited Loader Ticket
* Articulated Dump Truck Ticket
* HR Licence

AustSand Mining was founded in 1994. AustSand's main operation is Silica Sand Mining and the plant is located near Albany. As part of their operations, AustSand also operate a port facility for stockpiling and loading of Silica Sand.
