Within your role, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end project lifecycle from concept, planning, construction execution, monitoring and control and project close. You will be supported by a collaborative and result driven team.

The Company: NBPS has been in operation for over 8 years in the NT and specializes in Remote Maintenance and Building servicing both Residential and Commercial Clients.We work in some of Australia's most remote locations. Up to 8hrs drive from the nearest Hardware Store, Arnhem Land, kakadu National Park. Our Clients Include Federal Government, State Government, Local Councils and NGO's.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all business Workflows and Project Management for diverse trade services ranging from Grounds Maintenance/Landscaping Services, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Carpentry, New Residential Housing and Renovation Projects, Commercial Repairs and Construction and Insurance Remediation Works.
Daily checks of the construction site (remotely via site supervisor/foreman or in person) to inspect ongoing work and ensure that it complies with the approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations and is on schedule. Consult with the site Supervisor/Foreman to conduct risk analysis and manage project WHS&E requirements.
Monitor and manage construction quality, materials, and workmanship to ensure that the project meets the specified standards and codes.
Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and labourers. Coordinate and manage their work to ensure tasks are completed according to the project schedule.
Assist with and enforce HSEQ protocols and regulations on the construction site to protect workers, equipment, and the environment.
Monitor project costs and expenses, ensuring that the project stays within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities when possible.
Seek materials suppliers nationwide or overseas and negotiate price and quality. Coordinate with suppliers to place orders and track the delivery of construction materials, ensuring they arrive on-site when needed.
Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
Keep accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, permits, contracts, and change orders. Report any issues encountered.

100% of Variations Captured, Costed and Approved
90% + Project Progress Reports and Daily Logs completed.
Project Resources allocated correctly and on-time
Proactive problem-solving, anticipating needs before they arise.
Key Selection Criteria:
Previous Project Management Experience in Residential Construction or Architecture, Engineering, Design Qualification. Possible suite new graduate
Previous Experienced in Job management software including ServiceM8 or Buildertrend is highly regarded but not essential.
Computer literacy – Microsoft Excel, Project & Word, Click-Up and Blue Beam
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the client
Dispute resolution skills
Positive attitude & sound work ethic
Ability to manage multiple projects at once with competing priorities.
