Overview
As an Accessory Fitter at TJM Hobart, you'll get hands-on with some of the most exciting vehicle upgrades out there - think lift kits, bull bars, custom builds - the works! If you love building high-performance 4x4 vehicles, this is the role for you!
Working as part of our workshop team, you'll be responsible for assisting with the installation and fitment of a wide range of 4WD accessories, ensuring each vehicle is equipped to handle the toughest terrain. Your work will play an important role in bringing every customer's adventure-ready dream to life.
This casual / fixed-term opportunity is ideal for someone looking for hands-on workshop experience within the 4WD industry.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in 4x4 accessory fitting or mechanical/auto electrical background (preferred but not essential)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools confidently
* Knowledge of 4x4 systems, vehicle modifications, and aftermarket accessories
* Ability to read and follow fitting instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
* Understanding of safe workshop practices and commitment to WHS standards
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
* Valid Australian Driver's license
