An exciting opportunity has become available for a Graduate or Urban Planner to join a growing and dynamic team at a leading planning studio based in Perth. The studio, which was recently recognised as PIA’s Small Consultancy of the Year, is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to an array of exciting projects on a National scale.
Key Responsibilities :
* Contribute to various urban planning projects across diverse locations.
* Play a role in gaining approvals for high-profile projects, such as the upcoming 2025 season of The Block.
* Assist with placemaking and urban design initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes for each project.
* Manage and track project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues in the planning studio to achieve project goals.
Key Skills and Competencies :
* Placemaking expertise and urban design knowledge.
* Project management skills, including financial oversight.
* Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a focus on delivering quality work.
* Effective teamwork and collaboration with diverse groups.
* High-level communication and relationship management skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
* A relevant qualification in Urban Planning or a related field.
* Previous experience in consulting or government planning is desirable but not essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* A positive, proactive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
