Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for handling property maintenance requests, performing essential handyman duties and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day maintenance across the hotel.
* Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
* Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
* Identify, locate and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
* Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
* Communicate daily activities and problems that occur to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
This role requires an individual with Australian working rights and a 'Can Do' attitude. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure.
