Newcastle School Portraits – Broadmeadow NSW
We are a small local photography company specialising in school, sport, dance and childcare photography for over 35 years.
This job position requires employees to be available for shifts in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and some weekends. End January start. The successful applicant will be available for shifts usually between a 6am start and finish time up to 9pm evenings.
Staff are expected to work varying weekly shifts depending on business requirements.
If you have a bubbly personally, excellent customer service who loves children this is the job for you.
Qualifications & experience
* Valid Manual Drivers Licence and willing to drive a manual van
* Covid-19 Double vaccinated
* Paid working with Childrens check
* Photography experience working with studio lighting is an advantage
* Minimum 6+ months professional photography experience required
* Ability to take large group photographs: Class and Team photos, an advantage
* Bubbly personally
* Essential ability to work within a small team.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Taking Photographs
* Assisting photographers
* Working in a team environment
* Adapting to all environments and changes that may occur.
* Being able to take direction from other staff, in a timely manner.
* Responsible for the run of the photoshoot
* Ability to carry equipment to set up for shoots
* Must be able to carry equipment weighing up to 10kg
* You will not be required to work school holidays, making it Ideal for parents with childcare needs.
* To be eligible for the role you must be available for a January start.
